The word Tenebrae is Latin for "shadows". The Tenebrae service is an ancient tradition in Christian history that took place on one of the last three days of Holy Week. The most distinctive aspect of the service is the use of several lit candles. The flames of these candles are extinguished one by one as Scripture readings are shared to tell the story of Holy Week. This service will focus on the seven sayings of Jesus from the cross.
Join us on a Good Friday for this contemplative service reflecting on the death of Christ.
Join us for a family friendly Christmas Eve Candle Light service. The service is from 4pm-5pm and will include familiar Christmas Carols, Scripture reading, and a short reflection on the meaning of the birth of Christ.
We hope to see you there!

Ash Wednesday worship is threefold: to meditate on our mortality, sinfulness, and need of a savior; to renew our commitment to daily repentance in the Lenten season and in all of life; and to remember with confidence and gratitude that Christ has conquered death and sin. Ash Wednesday worship, then, is filled with gospel truth. It is a witness to the power and beauty of our union with Christ and to the daily dying and rising with Christ that this entails.
