What & Who

Christ Presbyterian Kids Club is for all children ages 4-10 years old. There is no cost to attend the club. Christ Presbyterian Church Kids Club is a fun, safe, age-appropriate 3 day club helping kids learn to love God, their neighbor, and their town. Each day we will be joined by a special guest from our community who is working to make Wallingford a great place to live. Kids will be able to engage them about what they do and even learn ways in which they can make Wallingford a great a place. We will consider how our community helps us understand the great love and care that God has for us.

We will also learn songs, play games, do crafts, read the Bible, and have a snack each day. On Friday parents are invited to join us for lunch to hear about all their children have learned and to watch as the kids sings the songs they have learned during the club.

Special Community Guest:

Healthy Summer Meals that don't break the bank

On June 6th we will be joined by professional chef Jenna Martin, Lead Chef and Culinary Instructor at Connecticut Center for Arts & Training. Chef Martin will provide us with healthy recipes that you can make at home this summer to keep everyone well fed and healthy without breaking the bank. Chef Martin will be demonstrating how to make some of the recipes as well as having a time of Q&A after.

Parents and children are welcome to join us at 5:30 for a pasta dinner, where we will be joined by Dr. Salvator Menzo Superintendent of Wallingford Public Schools. Following dinner we will provide a fun activity for the kids while the parents get to interact with Chef Martin.

Each participant will leave with simple and healthy recipes as well as a shopping list. Everyone who comes will also be entered in a drawing for a Stop & Shop gift card that will cover the cost of the items on the list. Please use the button below to register so we make sure we have enough seats and enough food for everyone!
